Job Requirement :-
Junior Engineer (Civil)
* Diploma holder in Civil Engineering from recognized University with two years experience;
* Graduate in Civil Engineering from recognized University.
Junior Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical )
* Diploma holder in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from recognized University with two years experience;
* Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from recognized University.
Sectional Officer (Horticulture)
* B.Sc. (Agriculture) OR B.Sc. with Botany/Horticulture as a subject from a recognized university
Lower Division Clerk-cum-Typist
* 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board / University with typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi on Manual Typewriter.
* (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.).

The Delhi Development Authority was created in 1957 under the provisions of the Delhi Development Act "to promote and secure the development of Delhi. DDA has played a vital role in the orderly-yet-rapid development of Delhi. The city has become the residence of choice for more than 11 million people and this number continues to increase.
In 1922 a tiny Nazul Office, comprising of 10 to 12 officials, was set up in the Collectorate of Delhi, the first authority to regulate the planned development of the city.In 1937, the Nazul office was upgraded to an Improvement Trust, constituted under the provisions of the United Provinces Improvement Act, 1911, to control building operations and regulate land usage.
India's Independence in 1947 and resultant migration increased Delhi's population from 7 lakhs to 17 lakhs by 1951. Open spaces were occupied by migrants. Civic services virtually collapsed. Delhi Improvement Trust and Municipal Body, the two local bodies at that time, were not adequately equipped to cope up with the changing scenario.Planned development of Delhi is the main function of DDA under Sections 7 - 11A of the DD Act of 1957. Planning Department of DDA is one the largest team of the town planners in any Development Authority in the country.

HOW TO APPLY :-
* Maximum age limit in respect of the post specified will be counted as on 28th June,2010
* Relaxation and concession in regard to OBCs will be applicable as per GOI rules/orders and amendment thereof.
* The candidates are advised only to enclose one self addressed Post Card with postal stamp of Rs.____ and Demand Draft alongwith their application form.
* The candidates are advised to retain a photocopy of the complete application form
alongwith copy of demand draft, which may be required for future reference.
* The applicants shall have to appear for the examinations at their own expenses except SC/ST candidates who will be paid TA as per rule.

Indraprastha HPO, New Delhi-110002 on or before 28th June, 2010. Name of the post and code number should be mentioned on the top of the Envelop. Applications received after the closing date OR NOT accompanied by the examination fee (wherever applicable) OR incomplete in any respects shall be summarily rejected and no communication shall be entertained from any of the candidates in this regard. Fees once paid shall NOT be refunded. DDA shall not be responsible for any postal delay/loss, Applicants sent through courier/registered post or in person to DDA will not be entertained.
