Outside Sales Professional for Corporate and Accounting Markets - Toronto

As an Outside Sales Professional you will achieve/exceed company assigned new sales targets through the active and effective selling of Carswell products and services within an assigned territory.

Your duties will include:

· increasing penetration of Carswell products and services into Corporations and Accounting firms;

· preparing, implementing & presenting annual territory sales plan including quarterly reviews and strategy/tactic updates;

· building relationships with, and knowledge of the Corporate and Accountant markets in support of customer acquisition and retention strategies;

· initiating sales process by scheduling appointments; understanding account requirements and making initial presentation/demonstrations;

· recommending new products and services by evaluating current product results and identifying needs to be filled;

· performing customer presentations, proposals and product/service demonstrations daily;

· contributing information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts;

· expanding sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services and developing new opportunities;

· closing sales by building rapport with potential accounts, explaining product and service capabilities, overcoming objections and preparing contracts;

· adopting and utilizing Carswell's Opportunity Management & Forecasting tools;

· preparing weekly/monthly reports on sales activity, market trends and competitor information; and

· updating job knowledge/competencies by participating in skill development/educational opportunities.

Qualifications

You will be a strong team player and will possess:

· a university degree (business or professional) or equivalent business experience;

· a minimum of 3-years sales experience;

· superior and demonstrable communication skills (verbal, written and presentation);

· a valid driver's license, a willingness to travel and occasionally work on weekends; and

· computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office Suite, Internet, and CRM databases.

Previous sales experience selling information solutions to Accounting, Legal, Tax or Human Resource professionals and "Conceptual Selling" Sales Training will be considered an asset.
