Description
Primarily role will be to assist with the investigation and testing of fixes for escalated customer issues. Team will be responsible for creating, testing, and releasing software patches for the Web Reporter product. Testing will include execution of formal regression tests as well as significant ad-hoc setup and testing of customer environments as needed.
Team will also have responsibilities in the area of performance, scalability, and longevity testing of the Web Reporter product. This would include detailed and documented test runs that generate valid and re-creatable data that can be shared with customers.

Desired Profile:
Required Skills:
* 2 -4 yrs of experience in the area of Quality Assurance / Software testing with excellent attention to detail.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills with a ability to work well both independently and with technical supervision.
* Working knowledge of Windows, Linux and/or Solaris operating systems.
* Working knowledge of Internet and Web based Internet technologies such as HTML, XML, JavaScript, TCP/IP networking, etc.
* Familiarity with software development life cycle process and basics of software version control.
Experience
* Experience with Java software development and related technologies.
* Working knowledge of SQL and various SQL databases including Oracle, MS-SQL, and MySQL.
* Experience with a scripting languages such as Perl or Ruby.
* Experience with designing, executing, and documenting re-creatable performance tests.
Experience: 2 - 4 years
