Applications are invited by Regd. Post/ in person from Indian Citizen to fill up the following teaching /non teaching post under the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University:
AssistantProfessor[PoliticalScience}

Post-1
Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100+6000
Qualification:
(i) Consistently good academic record with a Ist or High IInd class (55% or above marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E, and F) in M.A.(Political Science) or an equivalent Oriental Degree from a recognized Examining Body in the subject concerned.
(ii) Ability to teach through the medium of Sanskrit.
Desirable:
(1) Research Degree in concerned subject or published research works of outstanding value.
(2)Ability of guiding research students.
(3) Knowledge of Hindi and /or English.
(4) Knowledge of the principle of language teaching.

ManuscriptPandit

Post-1
PayScale: Rs.9300-34800+4200
Age: Max32years
Qualification:
1. Shastri/B.A. or equivalent with Sanskrit as one of the major subjects.
2. Knowledge of scripts other then Devanagari.
3. Some experience of reading ancient manuscripts or working in a manuscript library.
Desirable:
1. Master’s Degree or equivalent in Sanskrit. 2. Certificate in Library Science.

AssistantLibrarian

PayScale: Rs.9300-34800+Rs.4200
Age: Maximum age 35 years (32+3 years relaxed to OBC category)
Qualification:
(i) M.Lib. Science or M.A. in Sanskrit or Acharya from a recognized University with B.Lib. Science with consistently good academic record.
Desirable:
Knowledge of Sanskrit desirable.

Attested copies of certificates, testimonials etc. should be enclosed with the application form. The prescribed application form can be had from the office of the Vice Chancellor,Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Deemed University 56-57, Institutional Area, Janakpuri, New Delhi-110058 on payment of Rs.200/- on any working day (i.e. 10.00 hours to 17.00 hours) or by Bank Draft in favour of the Vice Chancellor, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Deemed University along with a self addressed envelope of 27” X 12” Cms size duly stamped Rs. 27/- or down loaded from Sansthan website .
The prescribed application form duly filled in complete in all respects should reach in the office of, the Vice Chancellor, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Deemed University 56-57, Institutional Area, Janakpuri, New Delhi-110058 latest by one month from the date of advertisement along with a Demand Draft of Rs.200/- in favour of Vice Chancellor, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan in case the application form is down loaded from Sansthan website. Incomplete applications or applications received after due date are liable to be rejected.
Notes:

1. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications ‘NET’ shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor for those with post-graduate degree. However, the candidates having Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET for PG level and UG level.
2. The post mentioned above are meant for constituent Campuses under the Sansthan located at various parts of the country. Job is transferable to anywhere in India, permanent and pensionable as per new pension rules.
. The age/qualification/experience may be relaxed at the discretion of Competent Authority on the recommendation of the Selection Committee, if Candidate is otherwise found suitable for the post.
4. Sansthan reserves the right not to fill any of the above posts without assigning any reason whatsoever.
5. Sansthan reserves the right to make a waiting list of selected candidates who will be appointed as and when required on priority basis.
